Dr. Simmons uses the Optos Daytona Digital camera. Age-related macular degeneration(AMD)
and diabetic retinopathy are two of the most common causes of blindness.
This instrument allows Dr. Simmons to obtain a 200 degree image of the retina without use of dilating drops. This digital camera allows Dr. Simmons to capture images that can be viewed immediately.
This powerful digital camera technology produces refined images of the retina that assists Dr. Simmons in detecting and monitoring changes associated with diabetes, glaucoma, hypertension, AMD and other serious conditions.
