Dr. Marc S. Simmons

Dr. Simmons is a native of Los Angeles. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry in 1980 and has been in solo private at the same Inglewood location since 1988. Dr. Simmons is certified in the therapeutic diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association and the Los Angeles County Optometric Society. Dr. Simmons is also a member of the California Vision Foundation. This organization is comprised of optometrists who provide free eye examinations to working, uninsured residents of California.

Dr. Simmons is married to Colette and has two daughters, Lani and Sophia, who keep him very active. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading and is an avid tennis player.

Lori Lawton, Optician

In addition to being our office manager and working to keep the office running smoothly, Lori is our eyewear specialist and contact lens technician. She will assist you in selecting the proper eyewear and lens material for your lifestyle, and if contacts are your choice, she will train you in the proper techniques for both care and handling of your lenses. Her friendly smile and personable nature will make your frame selection an enjoyable experience.

Rakisha Doss, Optician

Rakisha keeps the back office flowing by processing insurance claims, writing orders and managing inventory control. She communicates daily with our laboratories to make sure your orders are processed in a timely manner. She will also assist with frame selections and assists the doctor with ancillary testing.

Araceli Felix, Receptionist

Araceli is likely to be the first person you speak with on the phone or see when you come into our office. She is vital part of our office in that she handles the phones, schedules appointments and verifies insurance coverage for our patients. She will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding insurance coverage, appointment availability, or any other questions you may have about your visit to our office.
